writer and photojournalist

There are some things in life we need spelled out for us.

Based out of Los Angeles, Iona is a writer and photojournalist who deeply enjoys drawing out the beauty in the mundane. Her culturally-diverse childhood in multiple countries has given her a love for the nuances of culture and travel. Her passion is uniting people from different backgrounds and cultures through the common threads of human pain and joy. She has published work with Darling Magazine, Sceen’ry Travel Magazine, The Fullest Magazine and MAED. She is always looking for new, challenging ways to utilize her pen, bringing vision to life through copy. And yes, at times she does refer to herself in the third person.

On this site, you’ll find some of Iona’s favorite pieces of work to date. All photos were taken by her and all copy written by her. For a more intimate view of Iona’s writing, feel free to visit her personal blog. For a real life example of her writing in action, contact her via the button below.

I’ll tell you a secret. Old storytellers never die. They disappear into their own story.
